Description

The Channel Marketing Specialist (Temp) for the Open Platform Business Group drives winning marketing programs to increase ASUS’ market share in North America. With business goals in mind, this role is responsible for developing ROI-driven marketing strategies and best-in-class merchandising both online and in-store. The Specialist works closely with the sales team to develop, drive, grow, and expand sales through MDF activities, joint promotions, and other channel marketing opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business objectives and growth plans to proactively build and drive marketing programs and initiatives that increase ASUS business in North America.
  • Localize, customize, and help develop sales and marketing tools for channel customers.
  • Execute and administer channel marketing programs; monitor, record, and analyze ROI.
  • Develop a keen understanding of partner funding requirements; execute approved programs and ensure compliance.
  • Plan and host events for channel customers in coordination with Account Managers.
  • Act as the point person for localization and customization of creative assets, including creation of messaging and positioning to win sales.
  • Champion A+ merchandising online, including creation of A+ product pages, product videos, interactive product tours, 360° product views, How-To Guides, webinars, and product selector tools.
  • Oversee in-store merchandising activities, including endcap creation, in-line merchandising, training, and launch activities.
  • Plan budgets and marketing resources, manage the end-to-end process including creative services and accounting.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with channel customers through weekly calls, monthly visits, and/or quarterly business reviews.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment where flexibility is required.
  • Strong passion for hi-tech and PC component products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Enterprise tools.

 

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) + minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.


Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in channel marketing and/or retail/eCommerce experience.
  • Prior marketing internship experience a plus.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office Only: Typically works in an office environment.
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
  • Domestic travel required up to 30%.

Contract Details:

This is a Temporary, Full-Time position with a contract duration from October 2025 to March 31, 2026. The role is intended to support the OPBG-NA Marketing team for the specified period. Extensions or conversion to regular employment are not guaranteed and will depend on business needs and individual performance.

 

Estimated Pay Range: $68,640 – $90,000 annually for work performed in the Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience relative to the role.
