Senior Product Manager
Description
The Sr. Product Manager is a managing partner of a product category. This role collaborates extensively with all roles and teams within and external to the company – engineering, sales, marketing, operations, customer, and vendor partners, to drive and deliver on goals and company objectives throughout the complete product life cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and manage product positioning and strategy over a variable subset of the complete product category.
- Identify opportunities and strategize a path for product expansion for delegated channels within the overall roadmap
- Deliver to an owned forecast on all metrics of quarterly goals – unit quantity, revenue, and profit
- Be an expert of the product and category with respect to the competition, customers and market
- Act as a voice and leader of the product category within the company
- Lead new product launches amongst various internal teams
- Ability to present and translate product ecosystem and market information into business opportunities to a large audience including executive management
- Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented industry
- Strong initiative and ability to be focused while self-directed in a dynamic corporate environment
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Create alignment across various teams in a global capacity with a headquarters based in Taiwan
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality
- Excellent teamwork skills

Required Qualifications:
Years of Education
- Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of industry specific experience (CE OEM, Reseller, Distribution) in Product Management, Sales, or Marketing
- Gaming –
- Work experience with gaming related products as plus
- Commercial –
- Understanding of B2B (Commercial) Public and Private customers, IT sourcing processes, and the channels they utilize to procure IT solutions is a plus
- Experience with Windows, Chrome, and/or Linux based hardware is required
- Experience with mobile device deployment and management tools is a plus
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong Excel skills / Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Salesforce.com
- Proactive, strong ownership, teamwork and self-motivated
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required

- Avid enthusiast of hardware products and the gaming industry
Travel
- Able to travel 20% of the time.
Working Conditions:
- Typically works in an office environment
- Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time

$120,000 - $168,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. It does not include bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off, EAP, & 401(k). The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
