The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to join our London-based Medical Affairs business unit. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll drive business growth while helping shape how pharmaceutical companies engage with healthcare professionals worldwide.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to global and regional Medical Affairs teams, designing and delivering innovative, strategic solutions that advance medical education and scientific exchange. With the backing of world-class clinical strategy, marketing, and client services teams, you’ll have the autonomy to own your territory, build deep relationships, and make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Forge and expand high-value partnerships with senior Medical Affairs stakeholders at top pharmaceutical companies.
- Identify and close complex, consultative sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design impactful, data-driven client solutions.
- Represent Medscape at major industry events, building visibility, thought leadership, and strategic influence.
- Balance commercial success with a mission to improve the way medical knowledge is shared worldwide.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or client partnerships—experience in med comms or medical education is a strong plus.
- A strong network within the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in Medical Affairs.
- Proven ability to sell strategic solutions consultatively.
- Expertise in digital medical education, scientific exchange, or medical communications.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with senior decision-makers.
