Position Description:  

Hybrid – onsite in Pawtucket, RI 2-3 days a week, with travel to the client’s Chelmsford, MA headquarters 1-2 times per month. Additional travel to other sites throughout the United States to support biometric screenings and benefit fairs will be expected 3-5 times per year.

 

The Well-being Program Coordinator (PC) will work collaboratively with the designated client's health promotion team to raise awareness of the well-being program and the WebMD products and services that enable it, as well as provide face-to-face health coaching with eligible participants.

 

The PC is responsible for client satisfaction and retention, as well as for meeting performance guarantees related to their role.  They will act as a customer advocate, as well as a point of contact with senior client stakeholders, HR Advocates, and Wellness Champions to increase participant engagement and maximize value delivered through the WebMD relationship. They will assist in providing thought leadership and in supporting program planning, strategy, and impact assessment. The PC will engage in customer service, program coordination, and program promotion duties and will provide both onsite and virtual programming, including lunch ‘n learns, stop-by tables, and interactive events.  

 

The PC will proactively identify opportunities for service delivery enhancement and improvement. As opportunities are identified, they will work with other Client Services team members to improve processes and develop new solutions. 

 

The successful candidate will have a background in health promotion, health communications, and/or population health management. Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English are preferred.

 

In this role, you will:

 

Health Coach responsibilities
  • Understand and deliver client-centered coaching through a combination of reflective listening and identification of readiness to change.
  • Perform face-to-face health coaching to eligible participants through in-person, video, active, and group coaching. 
  • Provide assessment of at-risk areas and provide referral to appropriate resources.
  • Assist participants' progress through the stages of change for at-risk behavior.
  • Utilize Motivational Interviewing techniques to elicit behavior change and reduce participant ambivalence.
  • Track and report on coaching sessions.
   

Program Coordinator responsibilities
  • Support a culture of well-being at the worksite level.
  • Increase awareness and engagement in client-wide well-being offerings.  
  • Help enact behavior change and improve overall health among participants.
  • Assist with the day-to-day delivery of the well-being program.  
  • Triage customer service requests, both onsite and virtually.
  • Coordinate, create, and deliver onsite and virtual events, including lunch ‘n learns, stop-by tables, and interactive events. 
  • Assist with promotion and implementation of onsite biometric and blood screening events and flu shot clinics.
  • Create and provide support to HR Advocates and Wellness Champions, including assisting with site-specific program recommendations and promotions. 
  • Coordinate the flow of information and materials to individual employer sites.  
  • Work with internal and external communications teams to coordinate the customization of WebMD’s standard communication vehicles, and when necessary, the development of original materials.
  • Coordinate meetings and other communications (both internal and external).
  • Work closely with internal and client teams to provide ongoing program performance review and strategic support. 
  • Track and report on all participant-facing activities and client performance guarantees.
  • Support WebMD Health Services product and service line expansion.  
  • Assist the client and internal account team with other tasks as needed. 



 Qualifications, skills and experience:  

  • BS/BA required; MS/MPH is a differentiator.
  • Minimum of two years’ Wellness Coordinator/Health Coaching or similar client-facing experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic environment.  
  • Professional presence and technical credibility to interact with senior-level customer contacts.  
  • Experience creating and managing Wellness Champion Networks.  
  • Strong program planning skills. 
  • Strong content creation and presentation skills. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, and the Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.  
  • Access to reliable transportation is required. 
 
Preferred:  
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with a manufacturing population.
  • Experience interacting with both desk workers and shift workers.  
  • 5 years’ Wellness Coordinator/Health Coaching or similar client-facing experience.
  • Professional Certification from National Wellness Institute (NWI), The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), or the equivalent certification.
