About the role
Join a team that is dedicated to developing innovative backend data solutions for a smart TV media platform used by millions. As a TypeScript Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that critical data is accurately collected, processed, and transmitted, enabling valuable insights for our stakeholders. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the success of our platform, making a significant impact on the way our users interact with media content.
What you will get to do:
• Create and implement a robust data solution that will be deployed across a vast network of devices, impacting millions of users.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams to consult on and implement advanced technical solutions.
• Play a key role in shaping the software architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Work with modern development standards, including clean code practices and regular code reviews, while incorporating cutting-edge technologies.
Who we are looking for:
Must have:
• Demonstrated practical experience and proficiency in developing applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Proficiency in Git
Nice to have:
• Experience in developing browser based solutions
• Proficiency with Web APIs, including Web Workers
• Experience in developing for embedded devices
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
• Data transformation, analysis and visualization skills
• Hands-on experience with AWS
