Job Summary: 
We are looking for a meticulous Confluence space manager/librarian to manage our Confluence space effectively. This role will involve curating content, customizing the look and feel of Confluence pages, training users on content creation best practices, archiving outdated content, and ensuring the site remains visually appealing and user-friendly.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage and organize content within the Confluence space to ensure easy access and usability for employees.
  • Customize Confluence pages and templates to maintain a cohesive and professional look and feel across the site.
  • Train and support users on Confluence functionalities, content creation, and best practices for organizing information.
  • Archive outdated or irrelevant content regularly to maintain the relevance and accuracy of information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement improvements to the Confluence space.
  • Update and enhance Confluence pages with engaging visuals, intuitive navigation, and interactive elements.
  • Monitor Confluence usage and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and user satisfaction.
  • Maintain documentation, including style guides, user guides, and governance policies for Confluence content management.
  • Stay updated with Confluence updates, features, and industry best practices, implementing changes as needed.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in library science, Information Science, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4years experience in managing and curating content within a Confluence environment or similar knowledge management platform.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture principles and content organization.
  • Proficiency in customizing Confluence spaces, pages, and templates to enhance user experience and reflect company branding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience with other content management systems or knowledge management tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS or other web design languages for customizing Confluence pages.
