Your Role as a Senior Real Estate Asset Manager:

  • Optimize property performance and returns through market research, rent pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee capital expenditures and implement revenue optimization strategies.
  • Manage risk and reduce liabilities related to real estate operations.
  • Track asset performance against pro forma and budget; provide actionable reporting to management.
  • Manage a portion of the multifamily real estate portfolio.
  • Review market trends and competitive reports to inform rental pricing.
  • Support leasing strategies through financial analysis.
  • Oversee budget development and analyze financial statements, KPIs, and benchmarking data.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sponsors, and internal teams.
  • Conduct site visits, assist with asset valuations, and monitor lease expirations.
  • Ensure compliance with partnership agreements, loan covenants, and contracts.
  • Advise on capital projects, unit renovations, marketing, leasing, and expense control.
  • Provide strategic input on hold/sell decisions and oversee leasing activity.
  • Create lifecycle financial models and review investor reports.
  • Monitor investor distributions for alignment with projections.

  • Proven experience in multifamily real estate asset management, especially suburban conventional properties.
  • Familiarity with property management, leasing, and operations.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook); Yardi experience preferred.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with investors, property managers, and internal teams.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Real Estate, or related field required.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years in multifamily real estate asset management with a track record of successful management and transactions across multiple property types.
