Position at MAS

CREATIVE STRATEGY RESIDENT

Job Title: Creative Strategy Resident
Group/Team: Strategy
Reports to: Strategy Mentor
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Part time - 20 week contract, Hourly
Time Period: Jan. 26th - Jun. 11th 2026
WHO WE ARE
MAS relentlessly pursues innovations and solutions that WOW to make lasting impressions for your brand. It’s the carefully considered colorful stage, content that teases new products and delights the viewer, that virtual platform that makes you feel like you are in the room together, and a customized pizza arriving at your door just in time for the show (seriously). We are obsessed with delivering MORE impactful and MORE magical moments that drop jaws, leave guests ecstatic, and give your brand the spotlight it deserves.
Now you might be thinking, this all sounds great, but what is Creative Strategy at MAS? Good question! We build the strategies that help brands connect with their audiences in fantastically unique and meaningful ways. We are researchers, and data collectors, and brand whisperers, and why obsessors, and big idea makers. This could look like… helping a brand determine where and how to show up IRL for their consumers, translating complex objectives into a clear and compelling story, leveraging cultural insights to craft a social strategy, and identifying ways to measure an experience’s business impact. We are a mix of former copywriters, brand-builders, social strategists, and marketers working collaboratively across departments to bring bold experiences to life for our clients.
WHAT IS THIS
The MAS Residency program is a 20-week tasting of our MAS special sauce — who we are, what we do, and how we do it. It's a deep dive into the experiential marketing industry, where fresh minds can immerse themselves in our world (and our clients’). During this time, residents will have the opportunity to hone and grow their skills, while also uncovering new interests and opportunities along the way. Ultimately this is a unique chance to collaborate closely with leading experts in the field, forge invaluable professional connections, actively contribute to the agency’s perspective, and depart with substantial portfolio work.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an exceptional writer, aspiring marketer, and passionate creative thinker eager to grow and refine their skills. This person will be a part of the Strategy team, supporting RFPs, client projects, and internal initiatives.
We’re not looking for coffee runners, we’re looking for cultural collaborators! Recent grads, grad students, or anyone in the event marketing industry can apply - we're looking for standout candidates ready to go above and beyond what is asked for. We want relentless learners, envelope-pushers, and creatives who are immune to ordinary thinking. You’re not just here to sit in and watch how the magic happens; you’re here to roll up your sleeves and help shape the future for the world’s most influential brands.
Feeling it? Awesome, we’d love to have you!
