WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
 
  • We are seeking an experienced Sr. Event Manager to lead a Sponsorship and Expo team for a large scale program, driving operational excellence and client satisfaction across large-scale live events. This role combines strategic sponsorship management with high-level event execution, ensuring seamless delivery of sponsorship benefits, partner expectations, and expo operations for our client portfolio.
 
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
 
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale event operations, sponsorship management, or related fields, ideally with exposure to both sponsorship and expo execution. 
  • Proven ability to lead and develop team members. 
  • Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex deliverables across multiple stakeholders. 
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills; comfortable with executive-level interaction. 
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships. 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within a larger, highly collaborative event team while maintaining accountability for individual workstream outcomes and overall event success.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for onsite event execution, including extended onsite periods (approximately 10–14 days), which may include various holiday periods, including being onsite in Las Vegas during Thanksgiving week.
 
ESSENETIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Oversee the full lifecycle of sponsorship delivery from kickoff and planning through onsite execution and post-event evaluation. 
Lead and mentor a team of approximately 15 people responsible for sponsorship fulfillment, enablement and expo operations. 
Serve as a senior, client-facing partner for sponsorship strategy, deliverables, and issue resolution building trust and long-term client relationships through proactive communication and informed recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams (facilities, creative, operations, finance) to ensure integrated planning and execution. 
Provide high-level oversight of expo operations, connecting sponsor requirements with the Expo Execution team to ensure sponsor needs are effectively translated into onsite delivery.
Track, manage, and report on sponsorship and expo KPIs, budgets, and contractual deliverables, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Identify process improvements, best practices, and standardized workflows to optimize event delivery.
 
PREFERRED:
 
Experience working in corporate or agency environments supporting high-profile, complex client programs.
Familiarity with event, sponsorship, and expo management tools and technologies, including but not limited to: RainFocus, Box, Microsoft Office Suite, Map Your Show, Ziflow, Workfront, Pointr, Zendesk, Slack, and T3 Central.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU
 
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $75,000 and $95,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
