A people-person finance wizard who loves to put finance operating structures in place, pilot processes, educate and share their knowledge with multi-disciplinary cross functional teams.  The Sr. Financial Operations Manager oversees two additional people within the Financial Operations team.  Additionally you will work with Production, Creative, and Business Operations teams.  A successful candidate will have a strategic mindset, collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details. They will be able to architect highly visible financial analysis and modeling, draw insights, and articulate impact from various business factors to inform key stakeholders. They must be comfortable in engaging with a broad range of cross-functional teams and establish trusted partnerships in a collaborative environment.      
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.    
  • Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with a variety of non-financial stakeholders.

Client Program Management    
  •  Owns and drives client event budgets while working with various stakeholders, internal and external, who are involved with the programs.    
  • Be the strategic finance lead on large multiyear projects.    
  • Coordinate and communicate monthly project budget updates in concert with Tencue Producers.    
  • Ensure project and program changes are validated, are in line with client requirements and approved by various stakeholders, internal and external.    
  • Monitor contractual relationships with clients to ensure compliance with all commercial and compensation terms.    
  • Analyze actual spending against program budgets to improve gross margins.    
  • Evaluate passthrough vendor costs for opportunities to improve project margins and deliver cost savings to clients.    
  • Supervise finance team activities as they pertain to Opportunity Management (CRM), project launches, vendor/contractor invoice processing, Revenue tracking, project reconciliations and client reporting.    
  • Drive the monthly cadence for forecasting revenue and cashflow.    
  • Interface with customer success leads and account executives to launch new clients.   
Tencue Business Operations    
  • Develop and implement a framework enhancing ROI analysis and spend categorization across the operations organization.    
  • Work with Tencue Leadership to develop a pricing strategy and model the P&L impacts.    
  • Drive continuous process improvements to achieve more efficient results.    
  • Work with Tencue Leadership and Corporate Finance to establish annual budgets to achieve strategic objectives.    
  • Provide accurate, timely, and actionable business metrics to Tencue leadership, department teams and other groups as necessary.    
  • Develop and implement a framework enhancing revenue growth and spend categorization across the operations organization.    
  • Improve the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance.    
  • Demonstrate strong grasp of GAAP principles.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $114,000 and $125,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
