What You’ll Be Doing and the Impact You’ll Make:
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js, TypeScript, Redux, and related libraries.
- Translate wireframes, Figma/Zeplin designs, and prototypes into responsive, accessible, and high-quality code.
- Integrate front-end with REST APIs (and optionally GraphQL) – handling data fetching, loading, error states, and performance.
- Implement state management (useState, useEffect, Redux) and React lifecycle concepts.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Flexbox, and Grid.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and global teams to deliver features.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code with proper Git version control workflows.
- Debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving best practices.
- Build prototypes to demonstrate innovative UI/UX ideas.
What We’d Love to See
- 3+ years’ experience in front-end development with strong expertise in React.js.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), closures, promises, async/await, and array methods.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Redux/React Router, and modern React hooks.
- Familiarity with Next.js (SSR, CSR, routing, API routes) is a plus.
- Exposure to headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Optimizely, Sitecore, AEM, etc.).
- Knowledge of Node.js/Express.js or any backend framework (bonus).
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
- Experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines (Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with AG-Grid and/or Java (bonus).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and explain solutions clearly.
- Good communication skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
