Description
What You’ll Be Doing and the Impact You’ll Make:
The person in the Developer-2 role with 5+ years of experience will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, portals, background jobs, and enterprise-grade solutions for Rightpoint using React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
The Developer must have a strong background in building scalable, maintainable, high-quality, and high-performing web applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js, with experience in integrating APIs, managing state, and optimizing performance. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices is essential.
This person will collaborate within a Rightpoint team of experienced Project Leaders, Architects, Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, IT Support, and fellow Developers to deliver solutions that meet modern web standards and client expectations.
- Design and Development:
- Designing and developing user interfaces for web applications using React, Next.js. and .NET frameworks.
- Familiarity with modern web design principles and modular component design in conjunction with NPM, Webpack, SASS, and grid frameworks.
- Experience in managing and interacting with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) using Entity Framework.
- Integration and Deployment:
- Integrating applications with other API’s, databases, or cloud tools.
- Deploying React, Next.js. applications and troubleshooting any issues during the deployment process.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI-CD, Git version control, and branching strategies.
- Testing and Maintenance:
- Testing applications to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
- Maintaining and updating existing web applications, providing user support as needed.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborating with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Documenting development and operational procedures throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Code Review and Quality Assurance:
- Performing code reviews to improve and maintain code quality.
- Continuous Learning:
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and suggesting the adoption of new Frontend Framework features
