We are seeking a Chief of Staff to become part of the product leadership team.

Location(s) and Travel:

  • Bellevue, WA (Hybrid, 1-2 days a week) 
  • Dallas/FT. Worth, TX (Hybrid, 1-2 days a week)

 WHAT YOU WILL DO:         
  • Participate in development team strategy meetings and maintain detailed milestone documentation, and provide updates and changes to relevant groups across the company.
  • Review development roadmaps across development teams, evaluating potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support the RFP process and oversee external development management across multiple development teams.
  • Track how teams use external development partners and provide insights to improve, expand, or change those relationships.
  • Prepare milestone documentation as needed by the company for planning and roadmapping purposes.
  • Collaborate with development teams around the rhythm-of-business calendar.
  • Plans, coordinates, and keeps the content of meetings focused.
  • Maintain documents and processes that support product development and greenlights.
  • Review project status and risks with the product team and help each team deliver successful titles.
  • Document key takeaways and create action plans for follow-ups.
  • Support culture building across teams and ProbablyMonsters.
  • Lead hiring process of key personnel across products.
  • Creation of materials requested by the board, including quarterly and other information needed on an ad hoc basis; delegate information requests to appropriate internal teams as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:         
  • 10+ years of game development experience. 
  • Experience in multi-platform AA/AAA game development. 
  • Experience shipping at least one multi-platform AA/AAA game.
  • Expert ability to build trusted relationships at all organizational levels, from entry to C-Suite.
  •  Expert ability to be detail-oriented, capable of using common sense and creativity to problem solve.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
  •  Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive global results.
  • Proven ability to maintain a delicate balance between business priorities, resource capacity, and stakeholder needs while keeping collaborative relationships.
  •  Exceptional cross-group coordination at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, financial acumen, and communication skills with the ability to influence across leadership teams.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multi-discipline concurrent work streams.
  • Exceptional decision-making, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills, unafraid to ask questions, and to improve communication.
  • Ability to enhance productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Expert ability to lead meetings for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Expert ability to resolve conflict, mitigate risks, and develop solutions that require compromise across diverse teams.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong familiarity with key productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Jira, Miro, SharePoint).

Compensation:  
  • This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
  • The full salary range for this position is $169,000 - $262,000 per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
  • In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
