Position Summary
The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in advancing Clarvida’s Total Rewards strategy by ensuring equitable, competitive, and scalable compensation practices across a complex, multi-state behavioral healthcare organization. This role partners with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights, improve compensation consistency, and support the organization’s growth and workforce sustainability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitie
- Support and contribute to the development and refinement of scalable compensation frameworks, including job architecture, salary structures, and leveling consistency. .
- Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking using salary surveys and external market data.
- Conduct proactive analyses (compression, equity, offer competitiveness) to inform leadership decision-making.
- Analyze compensation trends and provide recommendations on pay structures, salary ranges, and pay practices.
- Drive consistency in compensation decisions by identifying outliers and partnering with HR and business leaders to align to structure.
- Support the administration of compensation programs including annual merit increases, promotions, bonuses, and incentive plans.
- Identify risk areas in multi-state pay practices (e.g., CA compliance, pay transparency) and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and leadership to evaluate new and existing positions for appropriate leveling and compensation alignment.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure competitive, consistent offers, especially in high-demand clinical roles.
- Prepare compensation reports, analytics, and presentations for leadership and business stakeholders.
- Improve reporting and dashboards for leadership visibility into compensation trends and decisions.
- Audit compensation data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Assist with pay equity analyses and compensation compliance initiatives.
- Support compensation-related projects including structure development, market analysis, and program enhancements.
- Respond to employee and manager compensation inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and compensation information.
Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of compensation, HR analytics, HRIS, or related HR experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Proven ability to translate data into recommendations for business leaders.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and compensation survey tools preferred.
- Knowledge of compensation practices, salary structures, and applicable employment laws.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualification - Experience with high-volume hiring environments or healthcare/behavioral health.
- Experience supporting multi-state compensation programs.
- Familiarity with market pricing tools such as Mercer, Radford, Salary.com, or Payscale.
- CCP certification or progress toward certification preferred.
- Experience with compensation structures, pay equity analysis, or incentive programs.
