Private Home Care
Provides and documents non-medical care in a private- home setting under the direction of the Palomar Home Caregivers manager to include assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, errands, light housekeeping, companionship and other appropriate duties as assigned by the manager. Understand and follow a client care plan in order to help provide a safe, comfortable and confidential home environment. Communicate client needs with family members and other healthcare professionals. Return calls and emails while in the field as part of the scheduling and care plan process. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Experience in geriatric care is mandatory. Must have own transportation with proof of acceptable auto insurance. Knowledge of standard business communications such as email and personal computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

Completion of Live Scan Background Check

|Required Certification: ||American Heart Association recognized BLS - Heartsaver|
