Medical Equipment Specialist

The Medical Equipment Specialist supports the day-to-day management, tracking, and maintenance of medical equipment used to deliver patient care. This role ensures that medical equipment is available when needed, properly functioning, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards to support efficient hospital operations
Responsibilities
- Coordinates equipment repairs with vendors
- Responsible for placing, tracking and communicating doctor onboarding equipment purchases
- Initiates CapEx requisition process in Coupa
- Responsible for annual service contract requisition submission (cleaning, PMs, etc.)
- Resolves minor medical equipment vendor issues
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Our ideal candidate has a B.S. degree in Operations Management or a related field and 4 or more years’ experience. In addition, this position requires:

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Detail oriented and quality focused
- Demonstrates sense of urgency while maintaining composure
- Strong acumen with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other various software platforms.
- Occasional travel required

The posted range for this position is $60,000-$100,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
