Who do we need?  
As a Senior Account Manager, you must have proven skills across planning, creative and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to manage accounts and account teams. You will be a strong leader with excellent writing and communications skills, an ability to translate client needs into project plans, as well as develop and implement engagement campaigns for your clients. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing client partnerships and cross functional agency partners, as well as deploy teams in the most efficient and productive way to execute flawlessly and be a supportive coach to your reportees. Ideally, you should have agency/consulting or related experience with a background in managing government or semi government clients.  
What will you be doing?  
Client Relations:  
  • Responsible for the day to day management and oversight of your accounts, the Senior Manager will take a lead role ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Be a key player in supporting the clients at events and activations
Content development:  
  • Develop a range of external and internal content (both short and long form) including press releases, key message documents, speeches, memos, etc.
  • Assist in setting and meeting campaign measurement and evaluation criteria
New Business:  
  • Organic growth/project sell-in from existing clients – critical to this is ensuring clients are aware of our offerings and pitching services to clients wherever possible
Industry and Market knowledge:  
  • Maintain a high understanding of client’s business and work to create a good knowledge of current developments and trends affecting the clients’ industries and markets
  • Have knowledge of the role of social media channels in PR and how to best utilise each channel to the clients’ benefit
  • Demonstrate understanding of the clients’ digital work and provide counsel to team on social media content and activations
Account Team Management:   
  • Contribute guidance and ideas for the account teams to implement and develop client work
  • Assist in financial management for clients, including supplier coordination and activity reports
What do you need to apply for this role?  
  • 6+ years’ experience in a reputed PR agency, preferably managing healthcare and wellness clients
  • Well-rounded communication skills, good at client servicing and media relations, as well as the ability to write a range of short and long-form content, including news releases, case studies, features, speaking points, etc.
  • Experience in managing colleagues and teams
  • Experience with clients and accounts that are measurement and evaluation driven
  • Strong presentation skills, poise, and professionalism
  • Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate/commute
