What we offer

As the Multimedia Designer, you will be the creative force behind Mattamy’s visual storytelling, bringing ideas to life across print and digital channels for both internal and external audiences. You will capture moments, design compelling visuals and support multimedia production, always delivering work that meets our brand standards and deadlines. Your work will shape how our team members and the world see Mattamy, making a real impact on our culture and brand.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and create engaging multimedia and design projects (including handbooks, posters, presentations, social content, web assets and more) ensuring timely delivery, brand consistency and quality through collaboration with internal partners and vendors
  • Capture photography for the company’s LinkedIn and internal stories to support broader communications and employer brand initiatives
  • Leverage analytics, feedback and best practices to enhance creative projects and processes, contribute to creative strategy and inform communications channel strategies
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with internal teams from all levels and areas of the organization
  • Contribute fresh ideas and assist with a variety of projects as part of a small, cross-functional Communications team, embracing an iterative role that evolves to help achieve team and company goals
  • Access to a reliable vehicle is required as projects may involve travel throughout the GTA.

What you bring

  • Degree and/or post-graduate certificate in Visual Arts, Graphic/Multimedia Design or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in multimedia design and creative project management
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong photography skills with an eye for capturing and editing compelling images
  • Skilled at building strong relationships, collaborating and communicating with colleagues across all levels and functions, both in-person and virtually
  • Ability to work on multiple projects from end-to-end in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Hunger for continuous learning, with an ability to stay on top of and integrate best practices
  • Self-motivated and able to work with autonomy, yet thrives in a collaborative, team environment

Bonus points

  • Familiarity with video/audio production and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with ContactMonkey or similar internal email tools

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500 - $87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.

 

You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
