What we offer

The Senior Manager, BIM & Production leads the overall Production function within Product Development which includes oversight of the building information modeling (BIM) team. This role will ensure that design intent is translated into fully coordinated, manufacturable documentation and digital models, owning production excellence across the portfolio – setting standards, orchestrating workflows, and coaching a multidisciplinary team to deliver accurate, repeatable, permit and fabrication ready outputs. This role will oversee the virtual construction team, as well as have oversight and be accountable for ensuring that quality standards are implemented and maintained, overall ensuring buildability, manufacturability, and digital twin integration

What you’ll do

  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing team and production culture focused on accuracy, speed, and continuous improvement.
  • Define clear roles, growth pathways, and skills matrices for the production team.
  • Establish and enforce production standards and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) with rigorous version control.
  • Own the BIM Execution Plan and downstream workflows – from schematic intent to coordinated models, shop drawings, and CNC/panelization outputs.
  • Build and run a QA program to ensure manufacturability, code compliance, and consistency across projects.
  • Create integrated production schedules; manage timelines for all 3D/model and drawing deliverables; ensure milestones are met across multidisciplinary teams and in priority sequence.
  • Chair coordination reviews (clash detection, discipline integration) and drive resolution between architectural, structural, and MEP scopes prior to fabrication, reducing rework and field issues.
  • Partner with design and manufacturing stakeholders to reconcile design narratives with manufacturing parameters and digital twin data needs.
  • Own the production toolchain (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SEMA/HSB CAD where applicable); evaluate new technologies and integrations that increase throughput and quality.
  • Expand automation (content libraries, scripts, templates) and data pipelines that connect models to CNC/panelization and procurement workflows.
  • Define and report on KPIs: ontime model/drawing delivery, QA pass rate, manufacturability nonconformance reports (NCRs), clashfree coordination, change/rework rates, and first time right percentages.
  • Implement lessons learned to improve repeatability across divisions and product lines.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 7-10 years leading Production/BIM teams in residential, modular, prefab, or offsite construction; proven track record in scaling standards and delivering fabrication ready documentation.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD); familiarity with SEMA/HSB CAD and CNC driven manufacturing workflows.
  • Mastery of BIM execution, multidiscipline coordination, QA methodologies, and CDE/version control practices.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and BIM standards.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills; ability to align various stakeholders.

Bonus points

  • Knowledge of Canadian building codes and permitting pathways.
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing/modular, digital twin integration, or panelization; automation of model to manufacturing data.
  • BIM Management Certification or comparable accreditation.
