Senior Analyst – Financial Reporting, LHH Global

Join our team to oversee the LHH CTM/LD financial data quality, ensuring reporting of our business unit’s three financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) and statistical submissions are accurate and aligned to Group Reporting Policy.

  • Global Projects and Decision Support Director
  • Frequent interactions with the LHH Global Finance Teams (FP&A, Commissions, Controlling, Compliance) and Country Finance Directors and their teams

  • 100% Remote
  • Located in Florida or United Kingdom
  • Must be a resident of US or UK and possess a valid work permit. This role does not support via sponsorship.

In this role you can expect to

Key Accountabilities

  • Review the consolidated and country Income Statements & statistical submissions (FTEs) to ensure presentation is aligned to Group Reporting Policy and that local systems reconcile to the Group Reporting (GRP) submission.
  • Analytical review of the consolidated and country Income Statements & Balance Sheet submissions, to help identify cases of material error or misstatement and work with countries to fully understand outliers to trends.
  • Ownership of CTM/LD’s Cashflow forecasting and reporting
  • Lead monthly close meetings with leadership, highlighting potential issues and risk areas
  • Ownership of local system to GRP mapping and governance:
    • Set up and maintenance of JDE accounts and cost centres, ensuring correct mapping to GRP and timely resolutions of issues that may arise.
    • Collaborate with non JDE countries to ensure correct mapping of local systems to GRP.
  • Ownership of the CTM/LD Reporting Memo, which connects Group Reporting Policy to the CTM/LD business.
  • Oversee changes to reporting requirements e.g. Group Reporting Policy changes:
    • Collaborate with FP&A, GBU and TAG Finance to fully understand how those changes will impact CTM LD units
    • Design, update reporting memo and cascade the changes to the countries and ensure buy-in and adoption.
    • Manage any related restatements in conjunction with Global FP&A.
  • Project manage internal audits and involvement in other relevant Finance Projects.
  • Ensure controlling processes and reporting are robust, efficient and automated where possible.

 

All About You

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in accounting/finance, with 3 years’ experience in a global or regional controller role.
  • Qualified accountant or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting software principles:
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.
    • JD Edwards / E1 a plus
  • Experience in reviewing multiple financial statements on a global/regional scale, experience in discussing and writing financial policies would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of Career Transition Industry and/or HR Advisory business model is a plus.
  • Attention to detail with an inquisitive and proactive nature, “can do” attitude and comfortable working autonomously and part of a team.
  • Deadline and action oriented: ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure project timelines are met.
  • A fast learner with the ability to understand the detail, whilst being able to step back to connect the dots and wider implications of decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate and escalate issues in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
