Delivery Enablement Translator (French Canadian), Associate
Description
The primary responsibilities of the Language Translator are to:
Translate printed, media, and digital materials accurately and consistently into French and French Canadian, ensuring linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness. This includes maintaining the integrity of LHH’s brand voice and methodologies across all translated content. The role ensures that all translations meet quality standards and align with organizational guidelines, supporting the delivery of high-quality multilingual content for global audiences.
This position plays a critical role in advancing LHH’s ability to serve diverse markets by leveraging language expertise and staying current with best practices in translation and localization.

In this role you can expect to
Key Accountabilities
- Review and evaluate translations of various materials, including product descriptions, marketing collateral, user manuals, and other documentation, to ensure linguistic accuracy and adherence to business formal tone.
- Ensure consistency and coherence in translated content across different projects and platforms.
- Collaborate with the Delivery Enablement project team to provide feedback, suggestions, and guidance on improving the quality of translations.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to clarify terminology and intent.
- Conduct thorough proofreading and editing to eliminate errors in grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
- Ensure that the translations accurately convey the intended meaning, tone, and style of the original content, while considering the cultural nuances of the French-Canadian audience.
All About You
Education & Experience
- Degree in Translation/Applied Languages, localization, and/or related experience as translator or reviewer.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in translating and reviewing content, specifically for French-Canadian audiences, with a focus on business formal tone.
- Experience working in a global or cross-functional environment preferred.
- Experience with credentialing programs or professional development initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in translating and reviewing content, specifically for French-Canadian audiences, with a focus on business formal tone.
- Native-level fluency in French and English, with exceptional written and verbal professional communication skills in both languages.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for linguistic accuracy and consistency.
- In-depth knowledge of French-Canadian culture, language, and local idiomatic expressions.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and the ability to research and learn new terminology quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and machine translation tools.
- Ability to work within a virtual team.

- Compensation: $30.00 per hour
