Position at Ezra

Role                     Assessment and Insight Analyst

Team                   EZRA Labs

Location             London (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office, 2 days WFH)

About the Role

Imagine what even the world’s finest organizations could achieve if all their employees were coached to be their absolute best. At Ezra, we’re on a mission to do just that. We believe through coaching; people get to know themselves. Their goals. Weaknesses. Hang-ups. And once they know all that, they can build on the good stuff and work on the rest.

This mindset applies not only to our clients but is manifested in our own Ezra family. We believe we are changing people’s lives. We believe a happy team is a productive team. We want our people to care and be proud of what they do.

We also practice what we preach – every member of our team gets to experience the superpower that is coaching for themselves, among some other pretty incredible perks.

What you’ll do:

As an Assessment & Insight Analyst, you would join our Ezra Labs team. Ezra Labs is the beating heart of Ezra.  We author the assessments, models, content, and programs that form the framework that Ezra runs on.

We are a multidisciplinary team of experts focused on creating impact, backed by science. We operate as a growing centre of excellence within the company, having recently been configured into three distinct but collaborative disciplines: Science, Solutions and Proposition & Strategy.

You will help us bring our diverse data sets to life, applying statistical analyses and data visualisation techniques to demonstrate the impact of coaching at the individual, group and organisational level.

Your work will support people across the business, from the innovation projects in our EZRA Labs through to our product development efforts and the application of our insights by our customer-facing teams.

For example, your work will cover topics such as:

  • Data Science and statistics – you will apply a diverse range of statistical methods to our large and complex data sets, identifying opportunities to enhance our analytical capabilities with applications of data science.
  • Localisation – you will conduct analyses to ensure that our assessments and measures are reliable and valid across languages and across cultures.
  • Norm reference groups – you will help us bring context and meaning to data by developing and maintaining norm groups e.g., by industry, job-level, geographic region etc.
  • Research – you will conduct academic and industry research to guide the development of EZRA’s measurement frameworks, our product development and our applied solutions.
  • Writing and publishing – your research will inform academic research and market-facing insight papers.
  • Analysing customer data – you will draw on your statistical skills to support our customer-facing teams, helping them answer technical customer questions that may involve interrogating our data further.
  • Data Visualisation – you will understand which visual formats are best for expressing different forms of data (e.g., categorical vs. linear data).
  • Benchmarking – you will explore how individual and group coaching experiences influence outcomes such as engagement, well-being, productivity, team interactions and more.

About you:

  • You find psychology, behavioural and data science fascinating! We blend these and other applied sciences together to enhance the EZRA coaching experience.
  • You will have completed a graduate education in applied psychology (e.g., Business/Industrial-Organizational/Social Psychology) or an adjacent discipline (e.g., Research Methods, Data Science, Behavioural Economics).
  • You will have 3+ years of experience working in an environment where you managed and analysed data (e.g., engagement/well-being data, multi-rater/360 feedback data or psychometric assessment data).
  • You will be an adept statistician, having a breadth of experience conducting different analyses of different forms of data (e.g., regression analyses, analyses of variance, structural equation modelling, mediation and moderation analyses etc.).
  • You will be proficient using ‘R’ to manipulate and analyse data, with experience of, or an interest in other languages and tools to handle data.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are motivated by getting to the truth of something; what is the data really telling us, what relationships and differences really matter?
  • Enjoy working on varied projects with different teams; your analyses will inform diverse projects across EZRA, from innovative R&D through to product development and applied solutions with our coaches and customers.
  • Proactively seek out information and ask lots of questions; we’re a growing business and want you to learn with us and make recommendations.
  • Are organised and collaborative; you will be working on different projects simultaneously and will partner with a range of people across the business.
