Description
The Shared Services role is a pivotal role within the organisation. This role is well suited to a graduate or school leaver looking to begin a career in finance or business operations. Supporting the Shared Services team in delivering accurate and timely billing and invoicing processes. You will gain hands-on experience across finance systems, billing processes, and stakeholder support, while working closely with experienced colleagues. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused, and keen to learn, with a strong sense of responsibility for getting things right.

In this role you can expect to
Key Accountabilities
- Support the setup of client accounts using contracts and billing requirement forms
- Assist in gathering, checking, and updating billing data to ensure accurate invoicing
- Help review and process candidate referrals for invoicing in line
- Assist with resolving routine billing and invoicing queries
- Process credits and rebills under guidance and in accordance with finance controls
- Provide day-to-day support to account managers and the finance/billing team
- Maintain accurate financial records and follow internal finance processes

- Ideal for graduates or school leavers with an interest in finance or business operations
- Some administrative, finance, or office experience is helpful but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Willingness to learn finance systems and processes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organise workload, meet deadlines, and work well in a team
- GCSEs or equivalent
- Reliable, conscientious, and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
- Confident working with data and systems.
- Multi-tasking and works well multiple deadlines
- Proactive in approach, willing to ask questions, learn, and contribute to process improvements.
