Senior Analyst – BI and Data, LHH Global

Join our team to drive key finance projects, support decision-making, and enhance efficiency. This role focuses on transformation initiatives, system rollouts and process optimization.

 

Reporting Relationships:

  • Global Projects and Decision Support Director
  • Frequent interactions with the LHH Global Finance Teams (FP&A, Commissions, Controlling, Compliance) and Country Finance Directors and their teams

Direct Reports:

  • No direct reports

Location:

  • 100% Remote
  • Located in Florida or United Kingdom
  • Must be a resident of US or UK and possess a valid work permit. This role does not support via sponsorship.

Travel:

  • Some overseas travel may be required as the business demands.

In this role you can expect to

This role will be pivotal in overhauling the LHH CTM/LD Finance manual reporting, processes and models through leveraging Group-approved tools: Microsoft PowerPlatforms (PowerAutomate & PowerBI), SQL Server & MicroStrategy.

Finance Process, Transformation & Automation

  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps) and other group approved tools to reduce manual workloads in Finance
    • Develop system solutions for manual reporting
    • Assist in the design and roll-out of streamlined, automated financial processes and models
  • Build data-driven solutions using SQL Server, MicroStrategy, and Power BI to improve financial insights and to support leaders in Financial Decision making
  • Ongoing maintenance of solutions and data security and access control in front-of-mind.
  • Maintain process automation documentation for future reference and training purposes.

Training and Change Management

  • Act as a training and development champion, ensuring teams are fully equipped to use new finance systems and tools.
  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes and technology.

 

All About You

  • Minimum 5years’ proven working experience of working within a data analytics, BI or data engineering field, ideally with some experience in a Finance function or Finance focus
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science of Business Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • A passion for creating technical solutions using PowerPlatforms
  • High level of accuracy, and excellent attention to detail - the role requires the ability to effectively organise large data sets, from multiple sources ensuring that errors and inconsistencies are identified and corrected.
  • Driver of change, forming a perspective and communicating it effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation who have varied levels of technical knowledge.
  • An inquisitive and proactive nature, “can do” attitude. 

Comfortable working autonomously and part of a team.

  • Deadline and action oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure project timelines are met.

Technical expertise:

  • Power Platform expertise – Strong proficiency in Power BI (incl. DAX & RLS), Power Automate, Power Apps.
  • Advanced financial modeling – Experience with business case development, budgeting, etc.
  • ERP/PSA system knowledge – Familiarity with JD Edwards, SF PSA or other similar solutions / platforms / tools.
  • Data visualization & reporting – Experience with SQL, MicroStrategy, and Power BI.
  • Process optimization & automation – Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), BPM methodologies
  • Strong focus on the UX / UI design when building dashboards and reports.
  • Advanced excel skills and an understanding of accounting software principles:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Visual basic for Applications (VBA) would be a distinct advantage.
  • JD Edwards / E1, a plus
