Currently, we are seeking a AWS Systems Administrator with a strong English  level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:

Position Title: AWS Systems Administrator

Location: LATAM

What you will be doing:

  • Builds, maintains, secures, and continuously improves all the AWS Cloud infrastructure and services that host the project’s technical  systems.
  • Collaboratively supports multiple AWS cloud operational environments on a day-to-day basis.
  • Builds and deploys IaaS (CloudFormation & AWS-CDK) for various projects.
  • Manages compute and storage assets within the projects’ VPCs.
  • Secures and monitors system health (CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, GuardDuty,  etc.).
  • Enables the development team to safely and reliably test and deploy new code and features.

Requirements & Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess:

Main Skills:

  • 5+ years of related experience is required.
  • Industry knowledge with a thorough  understanding of fundamental internet protocols such as DNS, HTTP, and TCP.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS serverless technology with the ability to utilize AWS Enterprise Cloud with services such as ECS, Fargate, CloudFormation, and ECR.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to work in Linux environments including software  scripting in Shell and Python environments, utilize Git and configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible, utilize modern computing platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Containers, etc.), and proactively monitor enterprise environments.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Time and project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines or convicting demands, adapting to changes in work or procedure as needed.
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically in order to  troubleshoot, research, develop, and document solutions.
