Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Lead Material Handler will coordinate the flow of raw and finished goods materials within the plant, resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and inventory management procedures.

About the Role:
  • Act as a team leader, providing support and training to material handling staff while ensuring accuracy in ERP systems and inventory processes.
  • Ensure Kanban systems are properly updated, and materials are available as needed.
  • Generate and submit reports on material usage, inventory status, and discrepancies.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools to create reports and manage data.
  • Create, perform, and enter cycle counts into the ERP system.
  • Work independently to manage priorities and tasks while collaborating with production, quality, and planning teams to ensure seamless operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in material handling or inventory management in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with experience leading a team or training staff
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices, including cycle counting and Kanban systems
