Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the supply chain team the Global SIOP Manager will successfully meet company goals and objectives while orchestrating the global planning rhythm, ensuring that sales forecasts, inventory strategies and operational capacity are harmonized worldwide to deliver growth, efficiency and resilience. The manager will lead the monthly SIOP process while driving an aligned Demand and Capacity plan and measuring forecast accuracy and production adherence. This position is a key contributor of the success of the SIOP process and outcomes. 
 
About the role:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the SIOP strategy to ensure accurate forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management. Facilitate monthly SIOP meetings with key stakeholders from cross-functional groups as well as global teams and Executive Leadership.   
  • Global Oversite: Oversee the SIOP strategy across all sites globally, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall supply chain strategy. 
  • Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock. 
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain activities such as forecast accuracy, fill rate performance, inventory turns, excess and obsolete inventory and production schedule adherence. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Manage SIOP analytics with the creation of tools and analyses that allow for trending of forecast accuracy, production adherence, capacity changes and shifts, financial and other key performance indicators to be used to drive decision making.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure business continuity through proactive planning and contingency measures.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team in demand and supply management. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 
  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts. Utilize data analytics to predict market trends and customer needs. Support new product launches with strong ramp up/down plans.  
  • Operational Efficiency: Research business issues to identify potential problems and opportunities that need to be raised to the SIOP community. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or related field. Master's degree preferred. 
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning or operations management, or business analytics with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in SIOP and end-to-end supply chain management. SAP S4 HANA experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, advanced planning tools and data visualization platforms. Understanding of production flow principles and manufacturing processes. Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications are a plus. 
  • Preferred Qualification: Experience with multi-site planning is preferred.
