Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Senior Supervisor Logistics leads and manages warehouse operations including inbound/outbound shipping, inventory control, and returns. Drives process improvements, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and achieves supply chain KPIs. Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, timely service.
About the Role:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities: shipping, picking, packing, returns, and inventory control
- Plan and adjust work schedules and labor plans based on operational needs
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits; maintain FIFO practices
- Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse following 5S principles
- Prepare reports and monitor KPIs to improve operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff for optimal performance
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-year degree or formal training in logistics, warehouse planning or supply chain
- 5-7 years of progressive warehouse or supply chain experience; 3 years in a supervisory role
- Proficient in ERP systems (Visual/SAP) and MS Office
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety regulations
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, freight forwarders and associated shipping programs, and customs regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to develop own control tools to monitor and report inventory and KPIs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean/6 Sigma Greenbelt certification
- Forklift certification
- Experience in a Pick-Pack-Ship environment
- Customer Service experience
