Who We’re Looking For:  

As a key member of the Operations team, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new and improved manufacturing equipment and processes for medical devices.  

About the Role:  

  • Design and develop new and improved manufacturing equipment using CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Support the implementation of new equipment into the manufacturing process.
  • Execute, document, and support the line validation/qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA, and generation of work instructions and control plans.
  • Research, analyze, and present opportunities for improvement to manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in Design for Assembly (DFA) / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities to verify manufacturability of Product Designs

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing/Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices with a bachelor’s degree -OR- 3+ years’ experience with a Master’s degree
  • Lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Knowledge of DFM/DFA
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools
  • Experience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience with automation and robotics
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, specifically ISO13485
