Position Summary:
 
The Human Resources Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support and guidance across the organization in the areas of employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, wellness, compliance, and HR technology. This position will work closely with the Senior HR Manager and CHRO to serve employees and business leaders at all levels of the organization as we continue to grow.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor and resource to employees and business leaders, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR-related matters.
  • Plan and execute HR programs including compensation, benefits, wellness, performance management, leave of absence, and employee recognition, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Lead performance management programs, including process creation, talent review meetings form development, completion tracking, report generation.
  • Provide counsel to leaders on employee relations and performance issues, and participate in disciplinary discussions, investigations, and offboarding processes as needed.
  • Utilize HR Technology platforms to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR technology platforms and provide regular reporting as needed to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate and in some cases lead benefits and wellbeing programs, including open enrollment, wellness incentive and other perks associated with employee experience. Conduct research and benchmark against other plans and programs to evolve our offerings to ensure we are meeting the needs of our employees.
  • Assist HR Leadership in compensation practices, including merit planning, bonus planning, and benchmarking, to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.
  • Support and facilitate the acquisition and onboarding of other organizations by compiling data, reviewing policies, and crafting communications.
  • Administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Parental leave, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective communication with employees.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR team and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a business setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HR Technology platforms and Microsoft Office
