Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant is a critical role within our firm, responsible for delivering exceptional client service and managing a high volume of clients with accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a dedicated senior-level individual with 3-5 years of experience, including staff supervision, financial statement preparation, and experience in compilations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for client service, meticulous attention to detail, and the qualities of a good mentor, eager to assist in developing our staff. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations for multiple industries, and contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. They will manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting staff, including the supervision of remote staff. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships, providing exceptional service, and promptly addressing client needs. The Senior Accountant will assist in the development and training of staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, and will handle a high volume of clients, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. Conducting financial analysis and reporting to support client decision-making is a key responsibility, as is ensuring compliance with all internal processes and external regulatory requirements. Furthermore, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with other departments to support overall firm objectives and client satisfaction.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, including supervision of staff
- Strong financial statement preparation skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in multiple industries is preferred
- CPA certification preferred
- Passion and dedication for client service
- Strong mentoring and leadership qualities
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and clients
- Commitment to accuracy and detail in all work
