Primary Responsibilities:
- Create a warm and welcoming environment by offering a friendly greeting and assisting clients and visitors with their needs.
- Follow agency scheduling guidelines to maintain and manage appointments efficiently.
- Perform patient registration tasks, including scheduling appointments, updating demographics, and handling client accounts.
- Maintain professional communication standards by answering phone calls promptly, courteously, and professionally. Return voicemail messages promptly.
- Screen calls, take messages, and provide accurate information, including details about client appointments.
- Update billing information, process payments, and manage client records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Keep the lobby entrance tidy and appealing, promptly alerting housekeeping or maintenance for additional needs.
- Provide direction and wayfinding assistance to clients and visitors, ensuring they navigate the premises with ease.
Minimum Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum two years of job-related experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: Coursework in medical/psychiatric terminology.
Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
