HATCHERY TRUCK DRIVER 

 

Position Title:  Chick truck Driver  Department:    Hatchery Driver

1.) Perform DOT pre-trip and post trip inspections to the truck and trailer.   Perform the OSHA Pre-Operational Inspection to the Moffet.

Struck by PIT.

Struck by Moffet.  Never operate any Power industrial Truck if you are not certified by Pilgrim’s Pride to do so.  Red tag unsafe Power Industrial Vehicles.

2.) Load trailer.

 

Watch for partners around you.

3.) Deliver birds in a safe and timely manner.

Vehicle collision or rollover.

Stay alert of other vehicles, pedestrian and animals on the road.  Drive safely.

4.) Monitor trailer temperature.

 

 

5.) Unload trailer at the farm.

 

 

5.) Do all paperwork correctly.
