The APAC Regional Product Marketing Manager will support InVue’s regional product growth strategy by: successfully launching new products with fast market penetrations, support with development of new solutions or modify existing solutions to meet customer needs, being an expert in the products and be able to train the InVue stakeholders on the InVue solutions, map the competitive landscape, and work closely with InVue Brands partners in Asia Pacific.  In order to fulfil these tasks the RPM closely interacts with the InVue Sales Channels (direct and indirect), Customer Service, Operations, and Category Management teams.  Travel through the APAC region, particularly in Japan and Korea, will be required to ensure InVue is exceeding our customers’ overall expectations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with our Senior Regional Product Manager and day-to-day management of key projects with strategic customers
  • Develop and own the marketing and product strategy necessary to achieve aggressive InVue annual sales growth
  • Understand territory market dynamics, voice of customer, competitive product offerings, and bring product improvement and new product recommendations into discussion
  • Prepare/present market analysis for new product development or market size estimations
  • Drive the fast implementation of newly launched products by leading our early adopter program in APAC along with our Senior Regional Product Manager
  • Proactively manage and coordinate getting customer testimonials, and making sure these are properly utilized for marketing purposes
  • Proactively track and monitor regional product modifications, and specialty customer requests
  • Provide sales training to APAC Business Development Managers and Partners, and keep the Regional Customer Service team trained at ‘super-user’ level; requiring deep product knowledge
  • Research and understand our competitors’ sales strategies and marketing initiatives, and be able to communicate our advantages
  • Deliver professional and persuasive product presentations to customers and/or partners throughout APAC

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience gaining adoption of new products and product categories within existing customers
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and competitive threats within a market
  • 2 to 10 years experience in product marketing and sales enablement
  • Strong analytical skills to do thorough market research and develop actionable conclusions
  • Confident in customer meetings; excellent customer presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and driven personality
  • B2B and B2C product marketing experience preferred
  • Willing to travel approximately 50% of your time throughout APAC
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and execute plans
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent Japanese and English language skills.  Korean is a plus.
  • Master’s degree, Marketing direction is preferred.  Technical degree a plus
  • Experience working for a U.S. or Europe-headquartered company preferred
  • Strong skills in using PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office platforms
