The Senior Manager of Network and Security is charged with supporting and enhancing a global network environment and adhering to the highest security standards.  You will work with practically everyone in the company to train on security hardening and awareness while also enabling the business to function at an efficient level.  Having the ability to provide technical leadership and develop a good understanding of the business operations.

Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Hands-on, maintain efficient, reliable, and secure network services and cyber security practices for all sites.
  • Manage all activities associated with internet and intranet network services, both wired and wireless, as well as the underlying hardware and software supporting the network infrastructure.
  • Perform internal and external monitoring, fault notification and management.
  • Conduct daily analyses of various reports, logs, and documentation of system changes, propose and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop, maintain, and administer network operational and administrative procedures and standards to exceed business expectations.
  • Stay abreast of security threats and vulnerabilities, working with IT team and business users to make the global network as secure as possible.
  • Takes the lead on design and
  • Manage, monitor, and update malware prevention systems, email routing and fishing detection and response practices.
  • Ensure that system resources follow established policies, procedures, and secure practices.
  • Be part of Incident response team and provide subject matter expertise during a technology emergency.
  • Manage end point security with corporate security and intrusion prevention platforms in place.
  • Manage team of two Network Engineers and one helpdesk support specialist.
  • Work with the IT Director and Security Team to establish and maintain security policies, respond to customer and insurance security requests.
Qualifications:
  • BA degree in the field of technology preferred
  • Successful progressing in technical roles with 3-5 years of management experience
  • Ability and desire to travel international, sometimes with short notice
  • Strong experience with firewall and network design (Leading firewall, switch and Wi-Fi connectivity management).
  • Hands on experience with Azure Public cloud design and management, and Colocation, Hybrid Cloud Delivery Models.
  • Experience implementing and managing the suite of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Experience in managing vulnerability and risk assessment, MFA, and password management.
  • Experience in disaster recovery, and policies around it.
  • Experience in Aruba switching and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience in security and routing technologies from platforms like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Sophos or SonicWall.
  • Experience in Site-to-Site IPsec VPN management and optimization, SIP/VoIP technologies.
  • Have a strong background in cybersecurity, networking, and servers, preferably holding industry standard certifications.
  • Comfortable with Hybrid Identity Management (Azure Active Directory now called Entra)
  • Build and maintain identity federation services: SSO, SCIM, SAML, OAuth, etc.
