Summary:

The Director of Marketing will conceive and implement marketing and content strategy company-wide in order to generate demand and enable sales of InVue products. The mission for this role is three-fold:

1.) Drive awareness & demand for the InVue brand
2.) Create compelling messaging & content
3.) Create, curate and distribute tools to enable sales to grow at a double-digit rate annually with existing customers and gain new customers

Description:

As a B2B brand, it is imperative InVue messaging reaches the right audience in the right verticals. The Director of Marketing must work closely with Sales to understand the market and customers in order to effectively position and execute InVue’s brand & marketing strategy. Leading a team of three and reporting to the Chief Product and Marketing Officer, the Director of Marketing is a key role in the commercial organization and will collaborate with other senior leaders on marketing initiatives up to and including the CEO.

Responsibilities:


Leverage content, communications and digital marketing skill set to generate brand awareness/enhancement, thought leadership, and enable sales by:

  • Understand and message InVue’s products as a cohesive ecosystem to specific retail segments including Hypermarket and Mobile Carriers
  • Design, develop and execute fully integrated marketing programs with comprehensive outbound, inbound and content marketing for new product launches and existing products
  • Increasing brand reach, awareness and leads through managing all aspects of InVue.com
  • Develop social media strategy to increase awareness and ultimately drive sales
  • Analyze all marketing campaigns studying what was effective/ineffective and make recommendations for improvement
  • Perform market segmentation analysis across vertical to identify and quantify attractive market segments with proper messaging
  • Work closely and manage InVue’s long-term creative agency on ideas and execution of InVue’s brand image and messaging
  • Closely working with the Product Managers to maximize excitement and speed to market around product launches
  • Working closely with Sales, Regional Product Marketing Managers and Product Management to launch products and marketing materials in compelling fashion
  • Coordinate with International marketing team to maintain brand consistency across all global channels
  • Stay current with related industry trends, developments and marketing best practices
  • Set up, monitor and track demand generation programs devised to increase sales
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and 8 -10 years of combined strategic and hands-on experience in integrated marketing, preferably in a B2B mid-to large-sized company
  • Strong creative content generation skills
  • Excellent copywriter; blogging experience a PLUS
  • History of producing quantifiable results in Marketing roles
  • B2B digital marketing experience required
  • Thorough understanding of related digital best practices and methodologies
  • Management experience preferred; will manage a team of 3 people
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, especially in the context of email marketing.
  • Social media expertise required
  • Proactive problem solver who will take ownership of the brand and messaging
  • Proficiency in SEO and with analytical tools (Google/Adobe Analytics, or similar platform)
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and ability to work independently
  • Experience or familiarity with consumer electronics, retail, and IoT a PLUS
