The European Regional Product Manager (RPM) will support InVue’s global growth strategy by:  successfully launching new products with fast market penetrations, support with development of new solutions or modify existing solutions to meet customer needs, gathering the voice-of-the-market for potential offerings, being an expert in the products, being able to train the InVue stakeholders on the InVue solutions and map the competitive landscape.  In order to fulfil these tasks, the RPM closely interacts with the European Sales Team, Customer Service, Operations, and North America based Category Management teams.  Travel throughout Europe will be required to ensure InVue is exceeding our customers’ overall expectations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and own country level go-to-market strategies necessary to achieve aggressive InVue growth goals
  • Understand territory market dynamics and market voice to bring product improvement and new product recommendations to the HQ team
  • Share new product concepts with customers for validation or comment
  • Prepare/present market analysis for new product development or market size estimations
  • Drive the fast implementation of newly launched products by leading our Early Adopter program for specific countries within the EU region
  • Be the EU portfolio technical expert on InVue solutions – both hardware and software
  • Proactively manage and coordinate getting customer testimonials, and making sure these are properly utilized to develop additional business
  • Work closely with the Charlotte HQ and EU sales teams to progress key projects with strategic customers
  • Support our channels by engaging with HQ on product modifications to meet specific customer application requests
  • Provide training to EU Business Development Managers and regional third-party Business Partners, and keep the regional Customer Service team trained at ‘super-user’ level
  • Research and understand our competitors’ sales strategies and marketing initiatives, and be able to communicate our advantages to enable sales
  • Deliver professional and persuasive product presentations to customers and/or partners throughout EU

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience gaining adoption of new products, and new product categories, within existing and new customer accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends and competitive threats within a market
  • 7-9 years’ experience in a product marketing role; sales experience a plus
  • Strong business acumen to do thorough market research and develop actionable conclusions
  • Experience commercializing (selling/supporting) combined IoT/software solutions
  • Confident in customer meetings; excellent customer presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and driven personality
  • B2B product marketing experience preferred
  • Able to travel up to 50% of your time (post pandemic)
  • Based at our EU headquarters in Amsterdam, NL to support HQ customer visits
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and execute plans to achieve specific goals
  • Works well under pressure
  • Business or engineering degree.  Master’s a plus
  • Excellent English written and verbal language skills are required, addition EU languages a plus
  • Strong skills in using PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office platforms
