Description:
The Channel Development Manager - Point of Sale will drive the revenue growth, profitability, and market share for InVue within the mPOS, tablet security solutions market. To achieve this goal, the CDM will support the VP & GM POS to identify and develop direct, channel and reseller relationships in the US and Canada, provide sales and technical support to Sales Directors and Business Development Managers in Retail Solutions, manage brand relationships locally and qualify and support acquisition of new direct accounts. Businesses across multiple verticals have begun to use tablets to improve their operations and better serve their customers. InVue’s mission is to be the market leader in developing and commercializing solutions that enable simple and secure tablet deployment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with management team to identify and penetrate strategic market verticals and formulate associated customer initiatives
  • Develop business relationships at a senior level, which will include IT, POS, Merchandising, LP and Operations Managers
  • Work closely with management team to support a wide range of business development activities, including channel partner network development, strategy formulation, new product requirements, and new business opportunities
  • Successfully drive revenue growth of our Point-of-Sale line of business
  • Identify, evaluate, and report on market and customer opportunities
  • Provide and coordinate technical training as required for new product launches and existing product support
  • Ensure pricing and stock levels are appropriate for the achievement of business goals and objectives
  • Identify, analyze, and report on competitive threats and pricing, customer concerns, and market dynamics
  • Work closely with customer service and product delivery team to ensure that customers’ product requirements and delivery lead-times are met
  • Establish and manage revenue goals (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for assigned market and customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience in product/solution, channel sales with a demonstrated track record of growing revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Successful background and vast experience in building global partnerships with ISV, ISO, VAR and other payment industry channels
  • Product knowledge and a proven track record of B2B selling into the mobile POS, Payments, and Retail industries
  • Sales and business development experience within 2 or more industries: retail, banking, hospitality, healthcare, education, transportation
  • Successfully sold into businesses with 100+ locations
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding $5.0M USD sales quota with an average deal size in excess of $100K
  • Demonstrated skill set in the following areas: account acquisition (hunting), consultative selling, written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and competitive threats within a market
  • Ability to analyze financial data, prepare accurate forecasts, measure, and report (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) on performance
  • Understanding of strategic account planning, account management, new account development, and administration
  • Ability to implement sales programs and initiatives that drive incremental revenue
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, self-starter that requires minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Ability to travel upward of 40%, including international travel
