RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION – Quality Assurance Tester (Functional)
· Quality Assurance Tester for Quality Assurance testing for an Integrated Eligibility (SNAP, TANF) systems implementation program.
· This position will work side by side with QA team, State Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), County Workers and County Supervisors.
· This is a fast-paced project requiring the ability to multi-task as needed as well as an eye for detail.
Core Requirements:
· Experience in testing for large-scale government projects.
· Experience with all phases of the SDLC processes: requirements, design and development concepts in an iterative methodology.
· Functional experience with eligibility programs, specifically SNAP and/or TANF
· Review and understand systems requirements, functional and detail design documents.
· Experience in developing scenario roadmaps; validating, reviewing, and writing scripts from requirements and design documents.
· Execute test cases.
· Experience identifying and documenting test results and discrepancies between design documents and application performance.
· Document, and report bugs and errors to development teams.
· Help troubleshoot issues.
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Ability to test batch programs like interfaces, reports, notices etc.
· Experience testing high-volume scalable and web applications.
Good to have:
· Experience using SQL to query data
· Experience using Test Management tools such as Azure DevOps
