Impact is Hiring a Content Writer to join our Award Winning Best & Brightest Workplace! 

As a Content Writer on the Corporate Marketing team, you will develop blog posts, eBooks, landing pages, and more for Impact’s content marketing initiatives. This candidate will primarily focus on contributing to and executing on Impact’s content strategy, but will also work collaboratively with the team on additional campaigns that may include print collateral, email and direct mail campaigns, social media, videos, and more.

The Content Writer will work with the rest of the content team to write, edit, and review blog posts and other assets using the company’s style guidelines. The candidate must feel comfortable working independently to ideate, research, and produce relevant copy on individual blogs, overarching content strategy, and company branding.

The Corporate Marketing team consists of creative and data-centric professionals including designers, writers, social media analysts, event coordinators, and digital communication specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to come up with strategic, creative concepts
  • Create content that will educate and motivate the target audience, encourage conversions, and help our sales teams achieve their goals
  • Write for a variety of mediums, including print, digital, social, paid ads, and more when required
  • Apply content writing best practices, including the implementation of SEO standards

Things We Are Looking For

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 based on experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, PR/Communications, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in writing-related positions or marketing preferred
  • Exceptional portfolio with a mix of pieces
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Superior attention to detail and experience copy editing
  • Team player, comfortable with collaboration and constructive criticism
  • Self-motivated, independent, critical thinker
  • Ability to both execute on decided-upon objectives and offer new, creative ideas and strategies
  • Ability to adjust writing “voice” to appeal to various target markets
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
  • Proficiency in AP style
