We are looking for progressive and entrepreneurial Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for an Advanced Practitioner Lead (APL) role in our centers throughout the Portland, OR metro area.

This is a fulltime Urgent Care APL position that will be divided between (75%) Clinical Care and (25%) Administrative responsibilities:
Locations:
  • Portland Metro: Gresham, Fairview, Oregon City, Cedar Hills, Williams, Johnson Creek, Pearl District, Lake Oswego, Sherwood, Raleigh Hills and West Linn
  • Vancouver: Camas, Hazel Dell, Cascade Park & Salmon Creek

Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) at a designated site(s), meanwhile performing the clinical duties of a staff level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Duties include a wide variety of administrative functions including: APP leader role on clinical leadership teams, electronic medical records training, customer service training, procedures/skills training, workflow coordination/ staff scheduling and implementation of special projects/initiatives. Assists with chart review, patient quality/satisfaction initiatives and other administrative duties at the discretion of the Medical Director Urgent Care. Plays an active role at clinical leadership meetings and collaboratively disseminates best practices to all APP providers and staff.

Provides clinical services for acute episodic conditions, either in collaboration with or in lieu of a physician (as per licensure/ scope of practice). Practices within licensure specifications and seeks the professional medical direction of a physician whenever a case falls outside one’s authorized scope/ role.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree as PA/NP (preferred) or minimum of 2 years clinical experience
  • Licensed in the state of Oregon & Washington as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) required
  • Prior administrative or leadership responsibilities preferred
