Team Lead - Manufacturing (Monday to Friday 1:00pm to 9:30pm)

Essential Functions:
  • Checks inventory levels at various points throughout the process and recommends modifications to planned production volumes to management.
  • Conducts weekly inventory cycle count. Tracks, maintains, and verifies inventory count accuracy within the inventory management system.
  • Places parts orders based on production needs.
  • Ensures adherence to established procedures, current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and the company’s quality manual.
  • Ensures proper maintenance is performed on essential manufacturing equipment. Coordinates planned downtime for preventive maintenance with maintenance staff.
  • Gathers feedback regarding quality issues. Relays pertinent information to management.
  • Documents equipment repair and rebuild activities, creating technical feedback reports for engineering and quality use.
  • Performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on milling units. Identifies root causes and resolves issues on the production floor.
  • Conducts trainings related to assembly operations, such as processes, tasks, and machinery.
  • Provides management with updates on team performance to assist with evaluating productivity and ensuring alignment with production objectives.
  • Promotes and maintains a safe work environment by ensuring the team adheres to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and wears protective equipment as required.
  • Promotes collaborative teamwork environment through active participation in production activities, monitoring efficiency, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
  • Participates in and contributes to continuous improvement and manufacturing engineering efforts to reduce downtime, improve workflow and processes, and boost production efficiency
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience with precision mechanical assembly.
  • Previous experience with electrical panel building, motor controls, pneumatics, sensors, input/output wiring, and alternating current / direct current circuitry, a plus.
  • Previous experience with medical products, preferred.

Pay Range: $25.00-$32.00/hr
