Regional Sales Director - Melbourne, Australia
Description
What you’ll do:
- Drive direct sales of Gigamon’s solutions within an assigned territory and named accounts.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets by growing existing business and securing new accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans and territory coverage strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity in Salesforce.
- Leverage internal and external data sources to prioritize and plan sales efforts.
- Engage new and existing customers to identify opportunities, deliver value-driven solutions, and close incremental business.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and internal teams.
- Represent Gigamon at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Deliver consistent and professional communication, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Collaborate with Product and Regional Business Managers to identify product-market fit, support customer requirements, and inform product strategy.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, including product development and go-to-market activities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
- Maintain a strong track record of high performance (e.g., President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, consistent quota attainment).
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ve done:
- Successful direct sales experience in networking, cybersecurity, or a related space.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM; highly disciplined in pipeline management and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Background in sales engineering or technical training (CS, IT, EE) is a plus.

- Passionate about customer success, innovation, and staying ahead in a dynamic industry.
