Who we are looking for:

FEAC is seeking a Portfolio Analyst for its Chicago location. The person will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of a variety of CLO and total return accounts.  The successful candidate will work closely with accounting, compliance, front office and custodians in a dynamic environment to ensure accurate data and timely reports. The individual will demonstrate high technical expertise, problem-solving skills and excellent customer service for their internal clients. 

 

What you will do:

  • Coordinate with CLO trustees and external auditors to verify test/guideline results for monthly CLO reporting
  • Reconcile quarterly waterfalls and note valuation reports for CLOs
  • Review and provide approval on monthly/quarterly investor reports for CLO and total return accounts
  • Daily post trade compliance testing for CLOs and separately managed accounts
  • Monitor and communicate daily post-trade compliance and daily fund performance
  • Provide support to Portfolio Managers, Analysts and Business Development on ad-hoc requests
  • Consistently meet service level commitments to both internal and external clients

 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 2-5 years CLO and bank loan experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office modules a plus
  • Knowledge of ERISA, 40 Act, and Separately Managed accounts a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and solution orientated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate flexibility around responsibilities and working hours where required
