Who we are looking for:   

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our growing team. Among other responsibilities, Systems Engineers are responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based technologies.     

  
What you will do:    

  • Work with a team of engineers to design and maintain mission-critical IT systems
  • Examine existing workloads to select the most advantageous locations for each (on-premises, SaaS, IaaS, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and work proactively on incidents in a timely manner
  • Automate tasks and perform continuous service improvement
  • Participate in on-call rotations for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure issues

    

The qualities you should have:   

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience in Data Center, Trading, Computer, or Network Operations
  • 5+ years of experience designing, executing, and supporting complex IT environments, including AWS and/or Azure deployments
  • Financial services industry experience preferred, with an understanding of financial markets and trading
  • Proficiency in cloud operations, security, networking architectures, orchestration, containerization (ECS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), and automation/scripting (Python, Perl, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience in migrating workloads to either AWS or Azure
  • Experience in the implementation and support of Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience configuring and implementing Intune advanced security features
  • Experience with Windows domains, Active Directory, and Group Policy, and their setup and configuration
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and fulfill tasks within given timelines and work well both autonomously and within a team

    

Base Salary range: $130,000 to $155,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
