Who we are looking for:     

First Eagle is seeking a Business Analyst to be part of the Applications and Systems Development team supporting core Applications and technology requirements for the entire firm.  As part of a highly visible team, this role requires excellent teamwork, technical, analytical, and communication skills to perform frontline support for business users.     

  
What you will do:      

  • Understand business context, operational processes, existing practices, new requirements and accordingly design technology solutions to solve business problems.
  • Convert business requirements from users to technical specs for developers and work with developers to build and implement solutions.
  • Design and architect solutions, build data pipelines, data warehouse schemas.
  • Extensive use of SQL tables, views, and stored procedures for analysis and hands on development.
  • Learn and use third party software to provide business solutions.
  • Work alongside Cloud team on long term technology initiatives for migration to AWS cloud.
  • Front line support answering any queries from business users.
  • Participate in complete SLDC of application development and manage software upgrades or patch releases for vendor applications.

      

The qualities you should have:     

  • 7+ years of related experience in financial services
  • Experience with Snowflake is required.
  • Relational database programming skills required, should have strong SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with Rivery is preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with OMS (preferably Charles River), Accounting Software (preferably Geneva) and Reconciliation applications is preferred.
  • Experience working on UNIX or windows platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Some programming experience is a plus.
  • Solid teamwork skills and work ethic; a collaborative work style is essential.
  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, and efficient
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

     

Base Salary range: $140,000 to $155,000. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
