Sr. Cybersecurity & Vulnerability Analyst
We are in search of a Senior IT Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Vulnerability Specialist on a Security Vulnerability Remediation project. This position would be required to go into the office during business hours at our client’s building located in Downtown Houston. Safety protocols are currently in place.
- Perform monthly vulnerability scans to detect weaknesses and identify exposures using Nexpose
- Document exposure points and notify responsible parties (Sr. Managers) within the organization on plans to remediate
- Consistently follow up on all exposures until they have been remediated or an exception has been made
- Execute projects against the OSI Model
- 10+ years in the IT Cybersecurity field; expertise in SIEM
- Network engineering or secure architecture background
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience with Nexpose is required
- Certified Nexpose Admin certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong follow-up skills and stakeholder management skills
