Our client is looking for a Compliance Program Manager (Pipeline Security)
Location: Houston, TX- Downtown -5 days onsite role. 
Type: Long Term Contract 
Industry: Oil & Gas (Midstream)
W2 only. No C2C, No sponsorship. 

 

Complaince Program Manager- IT program manager for Oil and Gas company to manage a set of 10+ IT and O&E compliance projects. The Program Manager will work with Project Managers to organize projects and identify cross project dependencies to implement the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) pipeline security guidelines.   The Program Manager will need to analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders. The program manager will work hand-in-hand with the senior management team to organize and set an all-encompassing strategy/formula that covers the interrelated projects. The program manager is a team player with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The program manager needs to demonstrate a strong desire for quality and attention to detail with excellent problem solving and organizational skills.  The program manager needs to demonstrate leadership qualities including flexibility and adaptability to change.
 
Essential Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training Required
  • Responsible for the successful management of program
  • Responsible for the project cost management of projects including planning, budgeting, funding, coding invoices, forecasting, managing, and controlling costs so the project can be completed within the approved budget.
  • Organizes, conducts, and attends meetings with project team and stakeholders to facilitate all levels of project planning.
  • Lead steering committee meetings with IT and Business leadership.
  • Lead technical and requirements gathering sessions- bringing people and understanding together.
  • Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers as needed including managing expectations, presenting, and interfacing with stakeholders.
  • Manages multiple programs concurrently, Large Teams, Geographically Dispersed
  • Works with project managers of other teams to ensure overall business and operational requirements are met for company initiatives.
  • Drives decisions, including difficult tradeoffs between resources, schedule, and functionality.
  • Works with third party integration teams to coordinate integration and testing.
  • Creates and maintains relationships across the organization.
  • PMI PMBOK Trained
  • Agile Training Preferred
 
Preferred Skills:
PMP Certification
Special Characteristics/Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Engineering or related field
7-10 years of related experience in a technology environment, including 5 years of professional experiences in TSA -project management
