Highlights of the role
Join our Water Resources Internship Program and gain hands‑on experience in water resource management, regulatory compliance, and conservation programs. You’ll work projects that support EPCOR’s diverse water resource portfolio while building technical skills, expanding your industry knowledge, and collaborating with experienced water resource professionals.
Internship dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
What you’ll be responsible for
- Assist with strategic water supply planning, including research, data compilation, and data analysis to support resource management decisions.
- Support conservation outreach including attending water festivals and community presentations.
- Conduct research and prepare summaries related to water policy, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Support relationship building efforts by helping prepare materials for meetings with external organizations, agencies, and regulators.
- Assist with internal reporting, data tracking, and project coordination across the Water Resources team.
What’s required to be successful
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree in Environmental Science, Water Resources, Sustainability, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field.
- Interest in water resources, environmental policy, or utility operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn from experienced water resource professionals.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office
