POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior HR Generalist provides essential tactical and administrative support to the global People & Culture (P&C) team. Serving as a dependable first point of contact for routine staff inquiries, this role focuses on the execution of day-to-day HR operations. The Generalist works in close collaboration with and under the guidance of the broader P&C team to ensure accurate, equitable, and consistent service delivery across the full employee lifecycle. This position acts as an operational anchor—delivering excellent customer service to EO staff, coordinating talent acquisition logistics, maintaining data integrity, and serving as the tactical administrator for our core HR platforms, specifically ADP Workforce Now.
The ideal candidate is a natural systems thinker who is deeply comfortable with technology, possesses a tech-forward mindset, and enjoys leveraging HR software to automate workflows and optimize data processing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Workforce & Partner Support
- Front-Line Support: Serves as the helpful first point of contact for day-to-day, routine HR questions from global staff, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
- Global Partner Coordination: Acts as the day-to-day operational point of contact for external EOR and PEO vendors (e.g., Deel) to coordinate international employee onboarding, offboarding, and localized data updates.
- International Compliance Administration: Gathers necessary data and submits local compliance documentation required by regional EOR partners, ensuring country-specific requirements are met accurately and on time.
Employment Lifecycle & Operational Logistics
- Talent Acquisition Logistics: Handles the operational heavy lifting for the global hiring process, including updating the recruitment database, drafting template-based offer letters, and scheduling interviews across complex international time zones.
- Platform Onboarding Administration: Manages the technical onboarding pipeline within the HRIS; configures the digital onboarding portal for new hires, monitors completion dashboards, and troubleshoots system access to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience.
- Lifecycle & Cycle Support: Executes the administrative steps for core P&C processes, including semi-annual promotion data tracking, relocation logistics, offboarding paperwork, and the tracking of the annual performance review process to ensure equity and consistency.
- Culture & Project Support: Provides dedicated logistics and execution support for team-led milestones, including Monday.com project tracking, pulse survey administration, and global culture events like Global Staff Week.
- Administrative Execution: Coordinates foundational team admin tasks, including maintaining digital personnel records, processing vendor invoices, and fulfilling standard employment verifications.
HR Technology & Systems Optimization
- ADP Database Maintenance: Serves as the primary tactical administrator for ADP Workforce Now, executing routine data entry, processing job and compensation updates, pulling standard compliance reports, and ensuring strict data integrity.
- HR Tech Optimization: Acts as the primary P&C power-user and technical platform owner; maps out how data flows between recruitment, onboarding, and core HRIS systems to eliminate manual steps and friction.
- Workflow Automation: Builds, tests, and deploys automated software workflows (such as automated notification triggers, task checklists, and electronic signature routing) to streamline lifecycle administration.
- System Troubleshooting & IT Liaison: Troubleshoots platform errors, user access issues, and integration glitches, serving as a tech-savvy direct liaison to external software helpdesks and internal IT teams.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Core HR & Global Experience
- Professional Background: Minimum 4 years of progressive experience within a Human Resources function, with a proven track record of executing routine HR tasks like onboarding support, HRIS data entry, and interview scheduling.
- Global Exposure: Prior experience or strong comfort operating within cross-cultural, multi-country, or distributed team environments, including hands-on exposure to global partner platforms (EOR/PEO).
- Discretion & Trust: Absolute commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and handling sensitive global employee data with discretion.
Technical & Systems Mastery
- Required HRIS Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience utilizing and configuring ADP Workforce Now specifically for core HR transactions, reporting, and automated employee onboarding workflows.
- Systems Mindset: A naturally tech-forward professional who learns new software rapidly, enjoys configuring platform settings, and proactively flags opportunities for workflow automation.
- Software Proficiency: Strong capability using the Microsoft 365 suite (especially Excel/Google Sheets for auditing data) and familiarity with digital collaboration or project tracking tools like Monday.com and SharePoint.
Operational Competencies
- Execution & Detail: A strong baseline of personal accountability with an exceptional eye for detail when tracking data, processing lifecycle logistics, and managing digital records.
- Communication & Service: Clear, patient, and approachable verbal and written communication style, with the ability to tailor messaging effectively for a diverse global workforce.
- Task & Deadline Management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to balance a high volume of tactical tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
POSTING DISCLOSURES
Compensation: EO reasonably and in good faith expects to pay between $70,000 and $85,000 per year for this position upon hire. Final compensation will depend on skills, experience, internal equity, and work location.
